It’s really beginning to feel a lot like Christmas now. A few mornings ago we awoke to just the right amount of snow. Everything had a sweet little dusting on it. Just like Powdered Sugar covered doughnuts.
We’ve had some of the most lovely purple and pink colored skies over the water lately. It’s been rather chilly outside the past few nights so there are no boats to disturb the lake’s surface. Only when the occasional duck or swan swims by do ripples mar the lake’s mirrored surface.
Hope you all enjoy your weekend. We’ve got tons to do around here including Decking the Halls and Trimming the Tree.
I can’t think of a better way to say goodbye to November and hello to December like going to see a production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.
For our family, no Christmas season was ever complete without watching the original White Christmas movie with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen as they danced and sang their way to the Columbia Inn Pine Tree, Vermont.
Last night my family and I went to see a wonderful production of White Christmas at the Papermill Playhouse in Millburn NJ. We were greeted by thousands of Christmas Lights adorning the familiar venue, an animation sequence to Christmas carols had them dancing in the darkness. It was really beautiful setting and a wonderful way to usher in the Christmas season. During the show the costumes and sets were just gorgeous and the singing and dancing was so much fun. Unfortunately the photo’s I snapped on my i-phone of the lights doesn’t really do it justice but it was just lovely.
Oh and if you would like to take a sneak peak at what we got to enjoy there’s a clip below. I’m so happy the Holiday season is here.
4 years, 1 little boy and 1 house later. Happy Anniversary to us! It’s amazing how much your life can be changed in 4 short years. Below are some of my most favorite pictures from the big day.
